For regular (land line) phone service, most of the county is served by CenturyLink with parts of Citrus Springs and Dunnellon served by AT&T. Both CenturyLink and AT&T offer Internet via DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) in some of their local service areas. Depending upon geographic area they may also offer other service bundles. Check if there is a telephone company NID (network interface device) on the building to determine while utility services the area or call and inquire.

Water and Sewer

While large parts of the county have well water and septic tanks for sewage service, there are some areas with city water and/or sewer. More areas have water service than sewer.

Finding out what water and/or sewer service is provided in the area from the seller (or a nearby neighbor) is the best approach. Note that services provided by the Cities of Inverness and Crystal River do not include all of the properties located within those municipalities and does include some properties outside city limits.
